NEW BOOK ON CUSTOM HUNTING RIFLES
November 2nd, 2009 Posted in General, Hunting, Shooting
If you are looking to order your first custom hunting rifle, or maybe, you have already ordered one and were less than satisfied with the experience and / or the finished product. In either case, here’s a book you should read.
Charlie Sisk is a respected rifle builder and in this book shares his thoughts on custom hunting rifles. The idea was to provide those looking to purchase a custom hunting rifle with information so they could make informed decisions and be able to engage in a conversation with a potential gun builder about topics relevant to the rifle they may or may not decide they want. (The first chapter deals with the question of whether you should even buy a custom rifle.)
This is not an advertisement for Sisk Rifles and Charlie was smart in that he rounded up some experienced hunters to contribute to the book. I provided several chapters and so did others with much more hunting and custom rifle experience than me.
Soft Cover with 272 pages and over 70 black & white photos
